Questions for all your wellness needs

Frequently Asked Qs

Will my massage hurt?

Depending on the style of massage and pressure there may be some discomfort or pain. Myofascial sports style can be a little more intense to focus on realigning structure and blood flow. Cranial Sacral is light-holding work so no pain should be felt.

How often should I get a massage?

This is going to be dependent entirely on you; your schedule, your finances. What are you hoping to accomplish with treatment? How active or sedentary are you? Your lifestyle plays into the frequency of how often. Massage is not one size, relax all, your needs will differ from everyone else’s. We create a massage schedule that works for you and your lifestyle.

What will my recovery look like + what should I do prior to massage?

Recovery will be different for everyone. Each style we offer will give you different benefits and works on different systems of the body.

MLD works the lymph so you may sleep great and feel refreshed, Cranial Sacral is working on the nervous system and resetting your body. This may leave you exhausted all day, sleep well, and wake up feeling awake. Myofascial may leave you sore for 1-3 days depending on your hydration levels, movement, and nutrition. You may feel nothing after or you could be sore for a while. This is normal. We recommend you stay hydrated, eat nutritiously and do some light movement.

Movement is life — so go for a walk, bike, lift light weights, just move. It will flush those muscles and keep those endorphins flowing.

Do you take credit cards?

We accept cash, credit and Venmo payments.

Do you charge my card when I book?

No. The card is not charged until the service is performed. We require the card if there is a NO SHOW or SAME DAY CANCELLATION.

How much is the cancellation fee?

We charge 50% of the service. This is because our time is booked. Unless we can find a replacement to fill in then we have to charge for our time. The same thing happens at the doctors.

Our goal is to get you to peak performance through means of massage, stretching and other tools.
